The Undersigned

I, the undersigned disaster,
Accept your feat.
The preface you signed,
The prelude of deceit.

I, the undersigned void,
Accept your apology.
I return the shroud,
Of your elusive poetry.

I, the undersigned villain,
Accept your benevolence.
I return the misread claim,
To the imprisoned silence.

~My Love~

It is big
It is Beautiful
It houses all my love

Majestic bay window
My love
Protruding pearl white
Flappy sonnet on the vine
My love
Shakes and settles tight

Sometimes its French
My love
Opens inward
Figures on stained glass
Calms the wayward

The tie backs
Holding the long drapes
My love
Seldom noticed
But relentless

The wild grass
In the dirt
My love
The smell of it
Your green shirt

The Burgling brook
Quietly awaits
My love
The long sounds
Measure distance
Whistling trails

The box at the entrance
Some forgotten mails
My love
Signed 'In anticipation'
The Rain porch
Dripping wet
My love
Never bails
