PRETTY FACE

She must have proven closure
And she must unwind the memory
She must learn to smile at it
And she must prove 'purity'

She must reciprocate but
Just enough
She may desire but
Just enough

She shouldn't bear the tabooed
She must learn to sway
Every now and then
Casting the flesh and blood away

She should be strong but
Just enough
Those tresses must attract some pain
Every now and then
No sacrifice, only in vain
But just enough
she must smile at it again.

She must still be courageous
But just enough
For a door must be slammed
Every now and then
At that pretty face
Warning her right place

If wishes to end the clamour?
She must have a stage name
But no chance
For a dying disclaimer
So they see no shame
